AHK Malaysia visits GBS

On 20 January 2026, the Director of the German Business School welcomed Mr Kumaran Shanmugam, Head of Vocational Education & Training at AHK Malaysia, and Ms Ursula Klingenberg, Chief Operating Officer at AHK Hong Kong, for an informative expert discussion. The dialogue focused on an intensive exchange about dual training programmes and vocational education at both important Asian locations. All participants shared valuable insights into their respective programmes, best practice examples and successful cooperation models between chambers, companies and educational institutions. Together, they explored concrete opportunities for future cooperation, from mutual support in placing trainees to joint project management in regional educational work. The discussions also underscore the immense importance of our global partner network and reinforce our mission to build a bridge between German training traditions and global business practices.
